I was so excited to have so many high school seniors contact me about senior photos. The next several posts will be samples of seniors I’ve just finished up. I enjoyed shooting seniors so much, I’ll be updating my website with a whole senior section to get ready for next year.
THANKS!!!
Daniel ‘09

This brother and sister team took me down memory lane. They reminded me of me and my brother growing up. I noticed how lil sis wanted to do everything just like “bubby” – just like me when I was her age looking up to my big brother too. And how they loved to talk with their grandparents was very sweet. Big brother showed me how to build a “tree fort” something that I easily could have learned from my brother and lil sis had a very long and serious talk with grandma about her favorite disney characters and who she was going to be for halloween. This was a great family to spend the morning with to remind me of times long past.

I’m a few sessions behind in blogging from my recent photo shoots. I’ll post some examples below of a family session I recently did and hope to get the other sessions posted soon too!
Since I’m not so good with commentary, I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves, but just let me say, these kids are a couple of the sweetest, most friendliest kids around!

Sometimes the biggest surprises come in little tiny packages! This little one came into the world completely unannounced! That’s right, no one was expecting her. But she was welcomed by many open arms!

And thanks to Mom and Dad for being such great models as well!

You’ll be seeing more of this little one to come. She’s Little Miss Mia Mag’s brand new cousin and I can’t wait to take photos of the two of them together.

I took the triplets out for a day at the park. And boy was it hard to keep them all in the same spot! If it wasn’t for a woman with a bird showing up, they might have never all three been in the same photo! But lo-and-behold out of nowhere a woman comes up behind me with a parrot and all the kids attention was finally focused on the same thing.

Besides that special little miracle from my guardian angel, I was able to get some really great moments of each triplet individually.

It’s not often that I honestly get inspired. Typically I have to sort of start the wheels turning first and work up to an idea. But last night I was inspired and just wanted to share this image.

Yes, photographing three young kids is tiring, but it’s also so much fun! Each of these three young ones had such great personalities.
Hailey, I think wanted to pose and let me take beautiful posed pictures of her, but since she was the oldest, I also needed her to help keep the younger ones focused. She did a great job! Especially since she had to be ready while I worked with the younger ones.
Lexi wanted to swing! She was so good though about sitting still and smiling to allow me to get a photo and then went right back to wanting to play. She kept wanting to know how many more photos were needed before she could swing. She’d deliver for that exact amount of photos, but unfortunately I needed all three to be focused at the same time and usually ended up needing a few more tries than I had told her.
Gavin was shy. Well at least he started out that way. Sleepy and shy. But he livened up and then started to have fun. He loved watching the doggies in the park. At one point he just got up and started running circles around the blanket I had them on! I can understand how a little man like him just didn’t want to sit on a blanket while we were at such an exciting park.
These kids were so fun to work with, but after playing with them in the park, I’ve decided I need lots more outdoor props to keep kids entertained!
